    3. Then count the number of activities that would help Visual, Auditory, Read/Write, and Kinesthetic learners.

    1. Write a 3 line mad lib for a neighbor about this week.
    2. Have a neighbor list the different words to use.
    3. Read each other your mad libs.
    4. ex: This week we ____________ (verb) a lab about ___________ (noun) in EES. This lab taught us ______________ (noun) very _____________ (adverb). At lunch we _____________ (verb) and ate _______________ (adjective).

    2) Preparation for Tutorial (20 min):

    1. Before you read: Which class are you most confused or most frequently productively frustrated in? Take out that materials for that class.
    2. Read through your recent notes OR assignments.
    3. Identify points of confusion.
    4. Fill out a TRF (remember, it's teacher question, your thought process, your question!).
    3) Tutorial Time!
    1. Break into groups of 7 students. Ideally, these are content specific groups.
    2. Decide who will time 30 sec speeches.
    3. Set up a board into three columns.
    4. Set up a three column note page.
    5. Take out your inquiry sheet from last week.
    6. Begin working on steps 5-6 of the tutorial process. Repeat!

    2) Literacy Block: Analyzing Learning Styles and College Performance
    1. First Graph: 
      1. List the learning preferences from best to worst score.
      2. Is anything surprising when you see the scores for the Lecture and Lab portions? Any results that you didn't expect?
    2. Second Graph:
      1. List the learning preferences from most to least prevalent.
    3. Combined:
      1. Knowing which learning preferences are most common, how would you expect students with that learning preference to perform? Is this accurate? Cite an example from the graphs.

    3) Lesson Plan: Learning Preferences Phrase Game and GREAT Groups!
    1. Write your name on a card in the color that corresponds to your highest preference learning style.
    2. You'll be sorted into groups to play VARK Telephone:
      1. TIME EACH ROUND! List these.
      2. The Read/Write person gets a phrase.
      3. Act out the phrase to the Kinesthetic person.
      4. Kinesthetic person draws the phrase for the Visual person.
      5. The Visual person describes the phrase for the Auditory person.
      6. The Auditory person writes the phrase for the Read/Write person to check.
      7. Were you correct?
    3. Debrief: 
      1. Which rounds took the least time? Most time? 
      2. Who might have the easiest time learning in school? Hardest? 
      3. What can students do on their own to help with that?
    4. On an index card: Write a random number on your card. Describe your normal role in a group. Describe your ideal role in a group.
    5. In your notes: Relate your role to your learning preferences.
    6. List the characteristics of awesome groups and not awesome groups.
