Objectives: I can…
...organize data in a spreadsheet.
...synthesize what I have discovered about how I learn best.
...organize my classwork.
**********************************
1) Warm Up: Set two SMART goals for the week, one for in school and one for outside of school.

2) Literacy Block: Classroom Observation Organization

  1. Take out your classroom observation sheet.
  2. With your table, create a list of activities observed and the number of times you observed them.
  3. Then count the number of activities that would help Visual, Auditory, Read/Write, and Kinesthetic learners.
  4. We'll combine this information in a class list here.
3) Lesson Plan: Study Tools Project
**Remember: A successful study tool makes you repeat information and apply it in a new way so there are no surprises when you get to a test/assessment!**
  1. Finish creating your study tool.
  2. Ask a neighbor for feedback.
  3. Revise your tool to make it more useful.
4) Success Workshop: Organize and Revise!
  1. Finish your study tool.
  2. Make sure EVERY paper is IN BINDER RINGS and listed in your TOC (unless it's extra paper or notes).
  3. Take out notes for any class.
  4. Revise your notes by shortening sentences, highlighting main ideas, circling key words.
  5. Reflect on your notes by writing summaries.
5) Exit Ticket: Brag about yourself! What is something awesome that YOU accomplished recently???
