1) Warm Up: Process Skills Glossary
  1. Use a new sheet of notebook paper. 
  2. Title it "Process Skills Illustrations and Definitions".
  3. Make three columns: Process skills, Illustrations, Definitions.
  4. Add three process skills, illustrate them, and then define them.
  5. Add this to your binder and TOC.

2) Literacy Block: Making Graphs to Display Data
  1. Work with a partner.
  2. Copy and share the spreadsheet here.
  3. Graph one set of the data in any way that makes sense to you.
  4. Include the following in your graph:
    1. A title
    2. Labeled axes the axes
    3. A key
3) Lesson Plan: Study Groups
**Move to your assigned classroom at 1:45. Bring all of your belongings with you, including notebooks!**

  1. Overview and Purpose
    1. Why study groups?
    2. What would an effective study group do? Ineffective study group?
  2. Break into groups. 
  3. Take out your study tools and your assignment sheet.
  4. Decide on a group purpose and SMART goal.
  5. Work and then evaluate your work.
  6. Repeat!
  7. Reflect in your notebook: How can you make study groups work for you? What will you do before you go to a study group? After?

4) Success Workshop: Time and Communication Management:

  1. Check and respond to emails.
  2. Fill in a planner for today OR make a list of upcoming assignments.
  3. Organize your binder.
4) Exit Ticket: Draw an emoticon to show how well you managed your time this week.
