This week only three grades can be earned on TRFs. If EVERYONE earns a 25/25, then we will be done doing traditional TRFs for the remainder of the year. In place of Tutorials we will do study groups and games and one-two seminars on topics you suggest.
So, here's the grading info:
- 25/25: This grade can be earned by completely filling your TRF. Initial questions MUST be from a source other than your own head and you must cite this source. Sources include: Homework, art prompts, benchmarks, tests, questions from the TRF resources tab at the top of the blog, challenging questions you find on a review site, practice test questions, etc. Your initial rating MUST be a 1-2. Use actual definitions that you look up, again, not from your head. Your Critical Thinking box must include a graphic organizer or detailed and labeled concept sketch. Your Process box must include steps that are numbered. *Star* the step where you get stuck. Your POC must be different than your initial question and it should be clear and specific. It also needs to be a complete sentence. IF you've somehow jumped to a 4, write a thorough 2-4 sentence summary explaining why you were confused and how the TRF helped you answer your question. You must bring your notes to your tutorial group, stay on task, give 30 second speeches, and take 3 column notes. Your reflection will be 2-3 complete and thoughtful sentences.
- 13/25: We've done these all year. If you mess up something above, expect a 13/25.
- 0/25: You don't even turn in a TRF. If this is the case, you'll do a make up assignment to earn at most a 16/25.
Freaking out? Don't think you can get a 25/25?
- Take a deep breathe.
- Come to see me at A lunch or from 3-4:15 this afternoon.

Already did your TRF and it's not going to earn a 25/25? Don't have a TRF? Come get a new one at any time NOT DURING ANOTHER CLASS.
