1) Warm Up: Learning Log (12 min)
2) Lesson Plan Part 1: College Fair Presentation Planning (50 min)- Take 5 minutes to add summaries and questions to recent notes and assignments.
- Choose a learning log option and complete it in 5 minutes.
- Stand Up-Hand Up-Pair Up and tell a classmate how what you learned this week is connected to what you learned last week.
- Notes for Tomorrow:
- Dress in casual professional clothes and try to add something in your school's colors!
- Go to A lunch then come to my room at 11:59 to get your presentation materials.
- Bring all presentation materials to the gym. You may leave your back pack, etc in my room. Other things to help bring up: Pennants, tape, scissors
- Set up tables in the gym like they were for Family Night.
- Set up your table.
- Get ready to present!
- After the college fair, break things down, return tables, etc. 3rd and 4th block will meet in my room to do a reflection. 1st block will go to Mr. Holeczy's room (Cheatham's room) to do the reflection.
- Time to Finish:
- Take 3 minutes to review your feedback and To Do list that you wrote yesterday. Make sure your group has a game plan and everyone knows their part.
- Get to work on your revisions.
- Show me your finalized presentation and planning document.
- Done early? Please create a "Welcome to the LEC College Fair" poster if needed OR see Lesson Plan Part 2.
- Review your SMART goal and assignments as listed in your planner.
- Choose a task to work on quietly until the end of the period.
