  2. While you Read: Take notes: 
    1. Parent Involvement is Overrated:
      1. Who did the research shared in the article? 
      2. What questions where explored? 
      3. What were the answers? 
      4. How were the answers supported?
    2. Education: The Role of Parents:
      1. Who is cited in this article? 
      2. List seven things parents should do.
      3. Note evidence: For four actions you listed, note why that action is helpful.
      4. Star things your parents have done. 
  3. After you Read: 
    1. Quickwrite: Use the information in the article to describe the ideal parent-school-student relationship.
    2. This will be the basis of a Socratic seminar on Thursday.
3) Lesson Plan: NCSU and LEC Photo Essay
  1. Open your presentation template.
  2. Complete the rest of the NCSU presentation.
