- Make sure you've done "Inference".
2) Literacy Block (1:45): Inference Making 101

- Read through the presentation on making inferences.
- Describe what an inference is.
- List what you can infer and what you cannot.
- Compare and contrast a fact from an inference.
- Write what to keep in mind as you make inferences from readings and from graphs.
- Complete the practice problems.
3) Lesson Plan (2:30): Where I'm From by George Ella Lyons
- Your task:
- Write your own "Where I'm From" poem by Friday.
- Publish your work!
- If you did not peer revise on Tuesday, do the following:
- Ask another student to read your poem while you read their's.
- Highlight the two lines that tell you the most about the poet.
- Ask one clarifying question.
- Give the poet a plus and delta.
- Write your poem on large construction paper.
- Create a colorful border that tells the audience more about you!

- Practice reading in a loud, proud, college student voice!
