2) Literacy Block (1:45): A Sincere Man am I 

1. As a class: Read the poem out loud in Spanish.
2. With a partner: Read the poem in English.
3. Fill in the right most column of your sheet. 
4. Add this to your binder and TOC.

3) Lesson Plan: Open Mic Afternoon!

1. Find out if you have missing work.
2. Get your number for poetry presentations and gather your poems.
3. Head outside and meet with your group.
4. Take turns reading poems. As you listen, evaluate the poet's work with the rubric.
