1) Warm Up: Verb Tenses (15 min)
    1. Before you do the exercise: Read the chart to the right. In your notes, write four of the example sentences and which tense they are an example of.
    2. Complete the exercise hereIf this is WAY too easy for you, create your own ten question quiz with at least two options for each blank.
    3. After you do the exercise: Write two of your own example questions with two options per blank
    2) Literacy Block: Poema en Dos Voces (25 minutes)
    *Poem sheets are in the front of the blue binder* 
    1. Before you Read: Make a claim. Is being bilingual helpful or not? Why?
    2. Follow along as the poem is read aloud to the class. The readers are: Daniela and Savannah
    3. After you read: 
      1. Skim the poem here.
      2. Choose an important idea (home, power, friendship, success) with your partner.
      3. Write a poem alternating lines.
      4. Highlight your two favorite pairs of lines. Share one with the class.
    3) Lesson Plan: Represent Your College Day Six (Until 2:35)
    *Planning packets are in the front of the blue binder*
    1. Review your "To Do" list for today. Add more specific goals if necessary.
    2. Discuss with your group: What will each person talk about when you have visitors at your booth during the college fair? What additional information do you need to find to feel prepared?
    3. Find the remaining information that you need.
    4. On our next work day, our next task will be to create presentations.

    4) Success Workshop: Revise and Organize (Until 2:45)
    1. Revise your notes.
      1. Highlight key terms.
      2. Show chunks in your notes with brackets.
      3. Write HOT questions.
      4. Answer the HOT and Essential Questions in a summary.
    2. Organize your binder.
