1) Warm Up: TRF Note Revision (5 min)
3) Tutorial Time (1:50, Reflection at 2:33)
- Take out notes and assignments related to your TRF.
- Highlight key terms.
- Write a summary.
- Add higher order thinking questions.
- Use sticky notes if you need to.
- Discuss: How can we incorporate Sanford's rich manufacturing base into our redesigned block?

- Preview your roles and goals. Let me know if you need to request a change.
- Log in to Blackboard, go to your ACA homepage.
- Select "Lessons and Assignments" on the left side bar.
- Choose "Week 2: Understanding your college technology".
- Read the tasks carefully and complete them step by step.
- To save a Google Doc as Word.docx (this is required for most CCCC classes) go to "File" > "Download as" > "word.docx". Then, you'll upload the assignment to you Blackboard as described.
- Before we begin:
- Gather your notes that relate to your POC.
- Go to the correct room.
- Ms. Nickel: Science, Innovation Challenge
- Mrs. Testa: Math 3
- Ms. Cunkelman: Math 2
- Mr. Stern: Spanish, Statistics, Humanities
- Break into groups of 4-5.
- Share your initial question and concept rating.
- Choose your first presenter (someone with a rating of 1-2).
- The presenter will give a 30 second speech ending with the POC.
- During Tutorials:
- While the presenter presents...
- Note questions asked and work done to resolve the POC.
- Take notes for the presenter.
- After the presenter understands the material, the presenter will summarize his/her understanding and record it in the summary column. If the group members agree that the summary is accurate, move on. (Don't agree? Ask more clarifying/inquiring questions until the presenter gets it!)
- Repeat as time permits until 2:33.
- After Tutorials:
- Answer the top two questions (no and then yes/no).
- Highlight three questions you will answer.
- Write your response in 5 complete sentences NOT starting with yes/no.
- Return your completed TRF, 3 column notes, and reflection to YOUR AVID teacher at 2:43.
