1) Warm Up: Journal It! (5 min + 3 min to share)

1. Describe a day in your ideal career.
1. Sketch it.
2. Create a comic strip.
3. Write lists!
2. Stand Up-Hand Up-Pair Up! Find someone who is interested in careers similar to yours!

2) Literacy Block: How to choose a career that's best for you

1. While you Partner Read: Note each of the nine questions you should ask yourself when exploring careers and your answers.
1. Example: Natural talents = creativity, drawing
2. Non-Example: What are your natural talents? My natural talents are drawing. 
2. After you Read: Make revisions to your journal entry.

3) Lesson Plan: My Career Cluster

1. Read the grading sheet and timeline above.
2. Create a note sheet in your notebook that you will fill in as you research your career cluster. 
3. Put a sticky note on that page so you don't forget where it is.
4. Go to CFNC.org and find the basic information about your career cluster.

4) Success Workshop: Revise your Notes

1. Highlight key terms.
2. Add HOT questions.
3. Write summaries.

5) Exit Ticket: Evaluate your SMART goal from last week and add a new one for this week.
