1) Warm Up: Process that! (1:27)
**What should I see at 1:22? What should I not see? Show me you've got this!**
  1. Find your Process, Definition, Illustration sheet.
  2. Work on finishing the 10 words you've started.
2) Literacy Block (1:45): Inference Making 102
**Finish where you left off last week!**
  1. Read through the presentation on making inferences.
  2. Describe what an inference is.
  3. List what you can infer and what you cannot.
  4. Compare and contrast a fact from an inference.
  5. Write what to keep in mind as you make inferences from readings and from graphs.
  6. Complete the practice problems.

3) Success Workshop (2:05): Evaluate and Improve!
  1. Option 1: Socratic seminar completion
    1. Finish your Socratic seminar sheet and turn it in!
  2. Option 2: Time Management
    1. Check your email. Respond!
    2. List all of your upcoming assignments, quizzes, and tests. 
    3. Predict how much time you'll need for each.
    4. Number them in the order you'll do them in.
    5. Write the day you'll do each.
  3. Option 3: Notes!
    1. Highlight key terms.
    2. Chunk your notes.
    3. Write HOT questions.
    4. Add summaries and highlight key terms used in your summary.
  4. Option 4: Organize it!
    1. Take out all of your binders and loose papers.
    2. Sort your papers and put them in the rings of the binders where they belong.
    3. Compare your TOC to a classmate's and add on!
4) Lesson Plan: Parent Night Committee Work Time! (2:42)
  1. Go to the correct room.
    1. Mrs. Cunkelman: Video Showcase Committee
    2. Mrs. Testa: Hospitality Committee
    3. Mrs. Kitchens: Translators Committee, Order of Events Committee
    4. Ms. Nickel: Student Discussion Leaders Committee, Babysitting Committee
  2. Open your committee's document.
  3. Add on as listed in the document (or based on what your teacher says!).

5) Exit Ticket: Awards for the Week!
Give yourself an award for each of the following areas:
  1. Meeting the SMART goals you set on Tuesday. (Example: SMARTest kid on the block! OR Eat more SMARTies?)
  2. Revising your notes.
  3. Managing your time.
  4. Organizing your work.
