Big Idea: Structures lead to student success
Essential Question: What impact do different perspectives have on what we know?
Objectives: I can...
...evaluate my success in meeting goals.
...compare and contrast strategies used to change buyers perspectives on a product.
...create a skit that retells a story in a new perspective.

1) Warm Up:
- Did you meet your SMART goal that you set on Tuesday?
- What was a highlight from your week?
2) Literacy Block: Compare and contrast strategies used to change buyers perspectives on a product
- Write: What item is being sold in the ads below?
- Compare and contrast: Create a Venn diagram comparing the strategies used in the ads below.
- Justify: Which item would you be more likely to buy? Why?
- Relate the differences in advertisements to the discussion of perspectives we had yesterday.
3) Lesson Plan: Fairy Tale Perspectives
- In the gym you'll break into groups.
- Each group will be assigned a fairy tale told from a new perspective.
- Create a skit that shows your fairy tale.
- The audience will guess what fairy tale you are acting out.
- Rules:
- No character names!
- No obviously naming setting objects that would give away the fairy tale (ie, no saying "Mirror, Mirror, on the wall."
- To kick off this event, watch the Malificent trailer!
- Head to the gym at 1:50!
