1) Warm Up: Learning Log (12 min)
- 5 minutes:
- Skim through your recent notes from all classes.
- Highlight key terms OR list them on a sticky note.
- Put a question mark by any confusing concept and a *star* by any concept you're a pro at.
- 5 minutes:
- Choose a Learning Log type.
- Complete your Learning Log entry.
- 2 minutes: Stand Up-Hand Up-Pair Up and tell a classmate what you learned this week. Ask your next classmate a clarifying question.
2) Lesson Plan: College Fair Presentation Planning Meeting (45 min)
- Get your copy of the planning document.
- Review your To Do list for today.
- Today's Priority: Start a document that has all things you want me to print in it. Share this with me tomorrow.
- To prepare for this, read through your College Fair Presentation Planning doc and highlight anything you want to add to the document I will print from.
- Re-Delegate tasks as needed.
- Get to work!
- At 15 minutes, list any topics that have been hard to find on the board.
- At 25 minutes, take an optional 2 minute brain break: Add to the back board, get water, stare at a wall...
3) Exit Ticket: SMART Goal Check and Group Reflection
- Open your planner and add any new assignments.
- On a sticky note, write how close you are (1 = haven't started; 4 = went above and beyond already!) to meeting your goal.
- On the same sticky note, give your college fair group a glow (compliment/thing ya'll rock at) and grow (something you could improve upon).
