1) Warm Up: Sanford Redesign Work Time (Until 1:40)

1. Pick up your materials from the drawer marked "4".
2. Look back at your goal from yesterday.
3. Determine what you will work on until 1:40.
4. Get to work!

2) Tutorial Time (1:40, Reflection at 2:05)

1. Before we begin:


1. Ms. Nickel: Science
2. Mrs. Testa: Math 3
3. Ms. Cunkelman: Humanities
4. Mr. Stern: Math 2, Stats, PreCalc
5. Break into pairs or trios.
6. Decide if you want a whiteboard or if you will just write on your 3 column notes.
7. Share your initial question and concept rating.
8. Choose your first presenter (someone with a rating of 1-2).
9. The presenter will give a 30 second speech ending with the POC.
2. During Tutorials:

1. Take notes!
2. After the presenter understands the material, the presenter will summarize his/her understanding and record it in the summary column. If the group members agree that the summary is accurate, move on. (Don't agree? Ask more clarifying/inquiring questions until the presenter gets it!)
3. Repeat as time permits until 2:05.
3. After Tutorials: Quick Write - Underneath your 3 column notes or on separate paper, answer the following:
1. What was the most helpful question you asked/were asked today? Why was it helpful?
2. Compare and contrast this tutorial with others. What did you like about the small groups? Dislike?
3. Explain your POC to me as if you were teaching it for the first time.
4. *Give your TRFs to the teacher whose room you are in! Make sure you write your AVID teacher's name at the top!*

3) Mini-Family Day (2:10-2:45)

1. Ms. Nickel: Coloring, Crafty things, Chill Time
2. Mrs. Testa: Missing Work :(
3. Ms. Cunkelman: Video/Movie Station
4. Mr. Stern: Board Games
